Reduced Pricing
For those who desire professional quality design but have a limited budget, I offer a reduced pricing option. The service is basically the same as full custom design, but because the number of design steps (and work hours) are less, the overall price is lower. This option tends to be a bit faster, however, it offers less flexibility and no major revisions of the design are included as part of the quoted price.
Clients may initially opt to utilize reduced pricing for their project, and choose to pay for extra labor if further work is needed. Additional labor charges are billed in one hour chunks, so each requested round of changes would be billed a minimum of one hour at the approporiate hourly rate. A firm estimate for any additional labor will be provided to the Client before it is done. For complete information about work Terms and Policies, please refer to the Services & Pricing page.
The following list describes base prices by project type. Please submit a request for a quote to receive a more accurate and specific price for your project. Be sure to select the Reduced Pricing option on the quote form to apply the reduced pricing option to your initial quote.

The Reduced Pricing option includes the following:

After initial email exchange or phone consultation, Client submits all materials for project.

Three (3) initial design concepts are created based on the chosen design option (designs include info gleaned from the initial conversation or email exchange).
Note: If initial designs are rejected, additional designs will be created at a rate of $75 each, until
one is chosen.

One (1) design is chosen from the proposed three.

One (1) round of non-design revisions (i.e., text changes, minor tweaks to elements, etc.)
may be made to the chosen design.

Upon final approval, project files are preflighted and collected.

All final files associated with the project will be provided to Client on CD or DVD* ** ***.
*DVD media may be used for excessively large projects. Clients without access to a DVD drive
will be provided with CDs.
**Smaller projects such as Web banners or graphics will be provided to Client via email, unless otherwise requested.
***ALL files from the project (including design concepts) can be provided for an additional 50%
of the estimated price.
As in the full custom design option, I will be in direct contact with your chosen print vendor, correcting any issues or problems with files should they arise as part of the service. For more information about dealing with print vendors, see Working with Printers.

Base Hourly Rate $50USD/hour.
Minimum charge for all jobs is $100USD.
Note: Changes that fall outside the scope of the estimate are billable at a rate of $50USD per hour.
Changes made by the client after final approval (Author's Alterations, or AA's)
are billable at a rate of $75USD per hour.
RUSH changes (24 hour turnaround) are billable at a rate of $100USD per hour.
*Minimum charge for additional changes is one hour at the applicable rate.
Note: The above prices are for design and illustration work only, and do not include printing,
mailing or shipping charges, and any applicable sales taxes.
*Charges for shipping outside the US will be separately calculated and added to the final invoice.
Cancellation Policy
In the event a project is cancelled after work has begun, the 50% downpayment
will be considered forfeit by the Client. If labor has exceeded 50% of the estimated price,
the Client will be billed for the additional labor.
Once payment is received, the Designer will furnish all files relating to the project
up to that point in time to the Client on CD.
